Short answer: Jobber prints its prices and LMN prints only a starting point. Jobber runs from $29 to $49 a month for one user on Core up to $299 a month for five users on Grow billed month to month, with extra users at $29 each. LMN starts at $297 a month for Starter and $648 for Professional, plus a one-time onboarding fee whose amount it does not publish. A small landscaping company with five people lands between about $2,700 and $3,600 a year on Jobber and at least $3,564 on LMN before onboarding. Neither product follows up your bids or chases your invoices on a schedule, which is the office work a flat $149 a month agent covers.
We sell a flat rate AI agent, so we have an interest in how this comes out. Both vendor pages were read on November 1, 2026 and change often. Check them before you sign.
What Jobber and LMN publish
| Product | Plans | Published price | How it scales |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jobber | Core, Connect, Grow, Plus | Core $29 to $49 for 1 user. Connect $99 to $139 for 1 user, $149 to $199 for 5. Grow $149 to $199 for 1 user, $229 to $299 for 5. Plus $399 to $499 for 5 users | Users included (1, 5, 10, 15), extra users $29 a month each, a price drop for yearly billing or a one-year commitment, sales quote above 15 users |
| LMN | Starter, Professional, Enterprise | Starter from $297 a month (1 office or crew lead license and 5 crew member licenses). Professional from $648 a month (3 office licenses and 15 crew licenses). Enterprise by quote | License counts, a one-time onboarding fee with no printed amount, and extra licenses at "a fee" with no printed amount |
The ranges for Jobber are the spread between month to month billing and a yearly plan. LMN is billed monthly after onboarding and prints its numbers with "starting at".
How much does field service software cost a small landscaping company a year?
Take an owner, an office manager and three crew leads who need to see their jobs. That is five users. On Jobber Grow with five users the price is $299 a month with no commitment, $259 with a one-year commitment and $229 billed annually. That is $3,588, $3,108 or $2,748 a year. Add a sixth user and Jobber charges $29 a month more, or $348 a year.
On LMN the same company fits Starter or Professional depending on how many people need an office or crew lead license. Starter is $297 a month, which is $3,564 a year, plus onboarding. Professional is $648 a month, which is $7,776 a year, plus onboarding. LMN's strength is job costing and production tracking for companies that want to know their margin per job, which Jobber handles more lightly.
Who each one suits: Jobber suits a small company that wants quoting, scheduling and invoicing in one place with a price it can read. LMN suits an owner who wants to run the business off labor and material costing and will accept an onboarding process and a quote for the details.
What does the software leave undone?
Both products hold the job. They schedule the crew, build the quote and send the invoice. Neither raises the second reminder on a bid that went quiet, writes the renewal letter for a maintenance contract six weeks before it lapses or sends the aeration offer to the clients who bought it last fall. Those jobs fall to an owner or office manager, and they are the first jobs dropped from April to June.
An agent covers that gap. Our AI for landscaping companies page lists the jobs in detail: bid follow-up at the intervals you set, reminders on invoices past 30, 45 and 60 days, renewal notices drafted 45 days out and seasonal offers prepared from last year's accounts. It drafts, you approve. WorkAgent Starter is $149 a month, or $888 a year billed yearly, with no per-user fee. If it recovers one late invoice or wins back one bid a month, it is paid for.
What to ask before you sign with either vendor
Ask Jobber what the price is in year two if you took a yearly plan, and whether the number of users you need crosses a tier boundary, because the jump from five to ten users is $70 to $100 a month on Grow. Ask LMN for the onboarding fee and the per-license fee in writing, and whether payment processing carries its own charges, since the page prints no figure for either.
Then count the hours. If you or your office manager spend eight hours a week on bid follow-up, invoice reminders and renewal letters, that is more than 400 hours a year. At an office wage that is a larger line than the software subscription, and it is the part an agent takes over.
Which route fits which landscaping company?
- One to three people: Jobber Core or Connect, plus the agent for follow-up. Skip a heavier system you do not need.
- Four to fifteen people with several crews: price Jobber Grow against an LMN quote at your license counts. Ask for the onboarding fee in writing.
- Any size: keep the scheduling tool and put the follow-up on an agent. The software does the route, the agent does the paper.
If you also want a site that takes estimate requests around the clock, a website builder that creates the whole site from a description is the next thing to price.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Jobber cost?
Jobber Core starts at $29 a month for one user billed yearly or $49 month to month. Grow with five users is $229 to $299 a month depending on billing. Extra users are $29 a month on every plan, and above 15 users you contact sales.
How much does LMN cost?
LMN Starter is listed from $297 a month with one office license and five crew licenses. Professional is from $648 a month. Both carry a one-time onboarding fee and extra license fees that are not printed, and Enterprise is by quote.
Is Jobber or LMN better for a small landscaping company?
Jobber is simpler and cheaper for quoting, scheduling and invoicing. LMN costs more and fits owners who want job costing and production tracking. The smaller your crew count, the more Jobber's published price helps.
Can AI chase unpaid landscaping invoices?
Yes. An agent keeps the open invoice list, drafts reminders at the ages you pick and flags accounts that need a call. You approve each message, so nothing reaches a client without your say.
