Refund Policy
In force from October 14, 2026
WorkAgent does not give refunds on subscriptions. Once a plan is paid, the payment stands, with three exceptions described below. Because you can turn off renewals from billing settings whenever you like, the simplest way to stop paying is to cancel before your next renewal date.
How cancelling works
Open billing settings in your workspace and switch off renewal. No email or call is needed. Your AI worker keeps running until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing more is charged after that. Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not undo a payment that has already gone through, and it is not treated as a request for money back.
Why payments are final
Starter, Pro and Scale are monthly or yearly subscriptions to the WorkAgent platform, with the task allowance, parallel runs and integrations listed on the pricing page. You pay for the workspace being available to you for the period. You are not paying per task completed, and the full allowance becomes available on the first day of each period, used or not.
Subscribing is your request that we start the service immediately. Any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period that might otherwise apply ends once the service has started at your request, and you acknowledge that when you subscribe.
The three cases where we reverse a charge
- You were charged twice. Our billing collected the same period twice by mistake. We return the extra charge.
- The payment was not made by you, and the records show it. You report it within 14 days of the charge, and our account logs together with the payment operator's transaction record support the claim. A claim on its own is not enough; the evidence decides. We may ask you to confirm you have reported the card misuse to your bank.
- The platform was down completely. A confirmed fault on our side made WorkAgent entirely unusable for an unbroken stretch, you told us at the time, and we did not resolve it. Slower task runs, a single failed run, or a problem with a connected tool, your network or your browser are not a complete outage.
A refund in one of these cases never exceeds what you paid for the period concerned, is sent back to the original card, and is our whole liability for that charge. It does not create a right to any further refund.
Everything else is not refundable
For clarity, money is not returned in whole or in part when:
- your plans changed, you hired someone, or you no longer need an AI worker;
- the workspace sat idle, or you used only part of the monthly task allowance;
- a renewal was charged, including after one or more declined attempts;
- you believed a plan was a single payment, although it is labelled as recurring on the pricing page, at checkout, in the confirmation email and in billing settings;
- you meant to cancel before renewal and did not, or cancelled just after it;
- you are unhappy with a result the agent produced: a lead list, an email draft, a CRM update or a report. The agent works from your instructions, data and connected accounts, and its output varies, which is why the product runs with human review steps;
- an integration, inbox, CRM or other third-party account on your side was unavailable, rate limited or set up incorrectly;
- a capability you expected is not described on the pricing page;
- you chose the wrong plan or billing period;
- time remains on a period after you cancel, since we never pro-rate;
- someone you gave access to, inside or outside your team, used the workspace.
Renewals and declined cards
Each plan renews on its own at the end of every period until renewal is switched off. As soon as a new period begins, the workspace is available for all of it and that period's fee is due. If your card is declined, the fee is still owed, and our payment operator tries the card again over the following days. Those attempts collect the same open invoice; they are not new charges. Turning off renewal after a period has begun only affects later periods, so a fee collected late for a period already running is not refundable.
How to make a request
Email [email protected] from the address that owns the workspace within 14 days of the charge. Include the date, the amount and which of the three cases you are relying on. We do not consider requests sent later or by any other route, we review them in the order received, and we do not continue a discussion about a request that has been declined.
What we keep on record
Creating a workspace means accepting our Terms of Service, which include this policy, and our Privacy Policy. Checkout displays the plan, price, period and automatic renewal before you pay.
For each subscription we hold the purchase time, the plan and price shown at checkout, your acceptance of the terms, the emails sent to you and an activity log of the workspace (sign-ins, tasks created and run, integrations connected, files and reports produced) with the technical details logged with them. The payment operator keeps its own record of each charge, including the card's issuing country, where the payment came from and the outcome of bank checks such as 3D Secure.
If a charge looks wrong to you, write to us before anything else. A chargeback opened without contacting us first breaches our Terms: we send the records above to your bank and close the workspace for good.
Purchases before this policy
Anything paid before October 14, 2026 stays under the terms in force on the day of that payment.
