Short answer: for a sales team of one to five people, the cheapest serious 11x AI alternatives cost a fraction of 11x's entry price and can be cancelled within three months. 11x starts at $3,750 a month billed annually, which is $45,000 a year for 2,000 new prospects a month. AiSDR starts at $250 a month for 200 contacts, month to month. Salesforge's Agent Frank is $499 a month billed quarterly for 2,000 contacts. WorkAgent is $149 a month and also covers the research and admin around outbound. Artisan, the closest like-for-like rival, prints no price.
We sell WorkAgent, one of the options below, so weigh that. Every price here was read on each vendor's own pricing page on September 27, 2026, from a US connection. Our full 11x pricing breakdown has the Pro, Enterprise and Julian detail and a calculator for your own volume.
Why small teams go looking for an 11x alternative
It is rarely the product. 11x runs managed mailboxes, warmup, research, sequencing and booking, and it bundles all of it with no setup fee. The problem for a small team is the shape of the purchase. Growth is sold as a year, so the smallest contract is $45,000 at list before you know your reply rate. It includes 2,000 new prospects a month, and the fee does not shrink if you load fewer. And 11x's own sizing guide moves you to a quoted tier the moment you need a sixth login, a non-English sequence or single sign-on.
That makes the useful question narrower than "what else is out there". It is: which tool lets a small team find out whether AI outbound works for them without signing for a year, and what does each one really cost per prospect?
The 11x AI alternatives, priced per contact
Cost per contact is the plan price divided by the plan allowance. It only holds if you use the whole allowance, which is the point: a flat fee spread over fewer prospects gets expensive fast.
| Tool and plan | Published price | Contacts a month | Cost per contact at full use | Shortest commitment |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 11x Alice, Growth | $3,750 / month, billed annually | 2,000 | $1.88 | 12 months, $45,000 |
| AiSDR Solo | $250 / month | 200 | $1.25 | 1 month |
| AiSDR Explore | $900 / month | 800 | $1.13 | 3 months, $2,700 |
| AiSDR Scale | $2,500 / month | 2,500 | $1.00 | 3 months, $7,500 |
| Salesforge Agent Frank | $499 / month, billed quarterly | 2,000 | $0.25 | 3 months, $1,497 |
| Artisan (Ava), Team | Not published | About 2,500 leads | Not published | Set on a sales call |
| WorkAgent Starter / Pro | $149 / $499 a month | Set by sends: 40 or 200 a working day | Depends on emails per contact | 1 month |
Two things stand out. Per contact, 11x is not the most expensive option on the list; on a full plan it sits close to AiSDR. What makes it expensive for a small team is the twelve month floor and the 2,000 contacts you pay for whether you use them or not. At 500 prospects a month, the effective 11x price is $7.50 each. The second thing is the spread at the bottom: a founder can test AI outbound for one month on AiSDR Solo for $250, or on WorkAgent for $149, against a first 11x invoice of $3,750 that commits them to eleven more.
Which 11x alternative fits which team
You are one person and want to test outbound this month
Pick a month-to-month plan. AiSDR Solo is $250 for 200 researched contacts, one user and three mailboxes, and it is a dedicated outbound product with warmup included. WorkAgent Starter is $149 and sends up to 40 emails a working day, which covers roughly 200 prospects a month on a four-email sequence, and it also does the list building, account research and CRM notes. Either way, the most you can lose is one month.
You are two to five sellers and outbound is a real channel
This is the band where 11x Growth is designed to sell, and where the comparison gets closer. AiSDR Explore at $900 a month gives unlimited users and 800 contacts on quarterly terms. Agent Frank is the cheapest per contact on paper at $0.25, if you already use Salesforge for sending. WorkAgent Pro at $499 gives three seats and 200 sends a working day, enough for about 1,000 prospects a month on a four-email sequence. If you need 2,000 or more fully managed prospects a month and nobody on the team can own the targeting, 11x Growth starts to make sense, and our AI SDR page lays out where each tool stops.
You need calls, languages or enterprise security
Stay on the 11x shortlist, and put Artisan next to it. None of the cheaper tools above runs an inbound voice agent the way 11x Julian does, from $5,333 a month for 2,000 calls, and none offers 105 languages. Artisan prints no price either, and our Artisan AI pricing page explains what its plan sizing tells you before the call.
What an 11x alternative will not give you
Be honest about what you give up at a tenth of the price. 11x manages the mailboxes, domains and warmup for you; on WorkAgent you connect your own sending accounts. 11x includes a contact database; on most cheaper tools, part of your list comes from your own sources, and it pays to find and verify the email addresses before they go into a sequence, because one bounced batch can damage a new domain for weeks. And 11x runs onboarding and weekly reviews on its upper tiers, while a $149 plan assumes somebody on your side decides who to target.
If none of those three is the reason you were looking at 11x, you probably do not need to pay for them.
Questions buyers ask about 11x alternatives
What is the best alternative to 11x AI?
For a small team, the best alternative is the one you can cancel after a test. AiSDR Solo at $250 a month and WorkAgent at $149 a month both run month to month. For a larger team that wants a like-for-like AI SDR with a sales-led contract, Artisan is the closest rival to 11x, though it publishes no price.
Is there a cheaper alternative to 11x?
Yes. Every tool in the table above has a lower entry price than 11x Growth at $3,750 a month billed annually. The cheapest per contact on paper is Salesforge Agent Frank at $0.25, the cheapest to start is WorkAgent at $149 a month, and AiSDR Solo is $250 with no contract.
Is 11x worth it for a small business?
Usually not as a first test. The $45,000 annual floor is set before you know your reply rate, and 11x itself says results come after a ramp. It can pay off where one meeting is worth several thousand dollars and you will really use 2,000 prospects a month. The SDR versus AI agent arithmetic helps you check that.
How does 11x compare to Artisan?
Both are sales-led AI SDRs sized by prospects or leads a month. 11x prints one price, $3,750 a month for Growth, and quotes Pro and Enterprise. Artisan prints none and sizes Team at about 2,500 leads and Scale at about 6,000 a month. Both push annual terms, so compare the full-year commitment, not the monthly figure.
Does any 11x alternative include an inbound voice agent?
Not among the low-cost options here. 11x sells Julian separately, from $5,333 a month for voice and $2,417 for chat, and Artisan lists an AI dialer as a per-seat add-on. AiSDR, Agent Frank and WorkAgent focus on outbound email and the work around it, not on answering calls.
The cheapest way to find out
If you have not run AI outbound before, the expensive mistake is not picking the wrong vendor. It is committing $45,000 to answer a question a $149 month could have answered. Put a real target list through a month-to-month tool, count the meetings, and then decide whether you need 11x's scale. You can try WorkAgent on a real lead list from the demo at the top of this page, and see what it would cost at your volume on our 11x pricing calculator.
